EASTER DELIGHTS !~

I just enjoyed a wonderful Stake Conference and the marvelous message of the Atonement! How grateful I am for my Savior and the wondrous gift He gave to us ALL !

This afternoon, I will be getting together with the Norton's for a family dinner. I made all the grandchildren here an Easter egg cookie ......................
And attached a little baggie of malted eggs and a Russell Stover chocolate egg! Mmmmmm !! YUMMY!!

I am bringing fresh rolls, Funeral potatoes and Nutella bites to the dinner. I also made enough cookies for a small army so in order to save myself from self destructing and eating them all ....

I gave some to my neighbors and will take the rest to the party to hopefully get rid of them!

They were sure pretty though~ Love the Spring colors!

YO YO QUILT IN THE MAKING ~

I have been making Yo Yo's with all my fabric scraps for quite some time now. I have got quite a stash of them collected! So this past Saturday and Sunday, while watching General Conference I decided to start sewing them together.

I saw a Yo Yo quilt once and decided I wanted one. I'm not sure how its going to look when completed but I like it so far!

It's growing and I will probably continue adding to it with more scraps being made into Yo Yo's.

I've still got a lot to add to this before making more Yo'Yo's and it's quite bright, but that being said ...... I like it!! Rather therapeutic to make and sew these together!

More to come ...... I'll post when completed! Could be years from now! lol
