I love coconut macaroons! I've made them before but always hated the way they stick to the baking sheet! I even used tin foil but it stuck to that as well! So I quit making them.
Then I discovered parchment paper! I know, I know..... it's been around forever I suppose BUT I just discovered it!! I love it! The macaroons come off sooooooo easy!!
I made some for my mother in law for her birthday. I took some to my grandson's birthday
cute mom! i have been meaning to pick some of that parchment paper up- i am sick of the spray on my cookie sheets turning brown and cooking to the metal.....you know what i mean?
ReplyDeleteWe'll get ya some when I come down!!
ReplyDeleteI've just recently seen you started a craft blog! You are one talented lady :) I love parchment paper! I use it to wrap up fish and veggies in a little package to bake in the oven. Silpat is AMAZING too! And you won't feel wasteful throwing away anything because it is reusable and is great for cookies :) It would be perfect for those macaroons, I would love that recipe!
ReplyDeleteThey was so easy Christa!! I will get it to you!
ReplyDeleteHeather told me about the silpat. I'm gonna have to get one of those. Glad you found this one! lol
Those look delicious! My husbands most favorite food in the world is coconut. I will have to make these for him!
ReplyDeleteYou'll have to post your recipe so I can do that!
